Hillside Road in the area of Meadow View Court was closed for approximately 15 minutes to facilitate Flight for Life’s landing and takeoff. The man was subsequently flown to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.

An investigation revealed the Oconomowoc man and his wife were on the property cutting firewood. In the process of cutting down a dead tree, a large branch broke off of the trunk, and struck the man in the head. While the man’s injuries are serious, they are not considered life threatening.
