Nov. 24, 2016 – Allenton, WI –  Ron and Ann Naab are coordinating a drive to collect money and items to donate to King Veterans Center, near Waupaca.

At the center is the OVE House, a facility that houses up to 27 homeless veterans trying to get their “lives on track.”

The government allows them to live at the facility and have food; all other required items to live are at their expense.

Many of these men have NO income and have had none for quite some time.  Ron and Ann are co-chairs of the American Tribute Ride, which is dedicated money to support this Veterans Assistance Program along with delivering personal-hygiene products, laundry soap and softener, snacks, books to read along with clothing.

On Friday the Slinger High School Girls Basketball program, coached by Tony Dobson, hosted a collection site at their field house.
Many items were donated, along with a gift of $1,200 of new clothing from Kohl’s  and over $750 was collected.   The Naab’s also picked up a pick up truck full of donated items from Still Waters United Methodist Church.
Ron and Ann will continue to accept items or cash up until 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25.  Later that afternoon all these items will be delivered to King.
Any one that would like to contribute should contact Ron or Ann at 262-629-9749 or [email protected]
