Another hot one for Washington County today

June 12, 2017 – Washington County, WI – Today is predicted to be another hot one in Wisconsin with above-average temperatures near 90. There is a threat of possible severe storms this afternoon, so keep an eye on the sky if you plan to spend time out of doors today.

From the National Weather Service, “Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 4 p.m. There is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms for southeast Wisconsin. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. The primary threat is damaging winds and large hail. Heat index values will reach the lower to middle 90s for the southern half of the area.”
