VIDEO | The U.S. Open is the place to be

June 17, 2017 – Town of Polk, WI – A steady stream of traffic early this morning at the Washington County Fair Park as golf fans piled into the RED lot to then take the free shuttle to the U.S. Open at Erin Hills.

This is the third day of tournament play at the U.S. Open before Sunday’s final round and neighbors across Wisconsin are showing their appreciation for the sport.

Jessica works as a supervisor at the walk-in security tent with her co-supervisor Dan at Erin School.  On Thursday morning, between 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. they checked about 4,000 people.  There was only about a 5-minute wait.

And if you think the Fair Park is busy, that family parking lot by Erin School that’s charging $40 a car had 400 cars parked there today.
