May 9, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – This evening Washington County experienced some minor damage from a severe thunderstorm cell that moved across the southern portion of the county.
At 5:03 p.m., our dispatch center received information that three trees and two power lines were down in the 1000 block of St. Augustine Rd.
The road is on the border of the Town of Erin and Village of Richfield and local public works were called to the scene to open up the roadway.
The cell quickly moved from the west to the east during the time the National Weather Service declared a tornado warning.
Washington County Sherif did not receive any reports of injuries.
