On 08/11/16 at 2:24 AM a West Bend Police Officer was checking the building of Toucan Custard, 600 N. Main St., when he observed two males pulling on the rear door handles of the business. When the two males observed the officer, they fled on foot. Officers found a screen from a window of the building had also been removed. One male was located hiding in a wooded area nearby and was identified as Jeffrey A. Wojciechowski, a 54-year-old from Cudahy. The second suspect was not located.

During the investigation of the Toucan Custard burglary, a second burglary was discovered at Marcos Pizza 1310 W Washington St.

That investigation determined Wojciechoski had broken in to the business one hour before Toucan Custard.

A third burglary was later found at Great Clips, 1201 W. Paradise Dr. The Great Clips investigation is ongoing to identify Wojciechowski as the actor in that burglary, as well as the burglaries to Vision Works, 1437 S. Main St., and Wausau Homes 2032 S. Main St., which occurred on 08/08/16.

West Bend Police working in conjunction with the Cudahy Police Department identified Wojciechowski in some recent burglaries in Cudahy. A second subject in the Cudahy burglaries was identified as a 36-year-old Cudahy male. The 36 year old male is believed to be the second suspect who fled from officers at Toucan Custard. There are no West Bend charges against the 36 year old male at this time.

Jeffrey Wojciechowski was charged with two counts of Burglary and two counts of Criminal Damage to Property through the Washington District Attorney’s Office. Jeffrey Wojciechowski has had previous criminal arrests including numerous Burglaries, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Controlled substance and Operate Auto without Owners Consent.
