May 9, 2017 – Kewaskum, WI –  The Washington County Republican Women supplied cookies, bars, cheese/sausage trays, snacks and fruit to members of the Kewaskum  Fire Department and Police Department.  It was their way of saying “thank you for all you do.”

The Kewaskum Fire Department was established in 1884. The department, under chief Mark Groeschel, consists of 50 volunteer firefighters who provide service for a 39-mile area, including both suburban and rural areas.

The ambulance territory covers approximately 89 miles including the Village and Town of Kewaskum, Town of Wayne, Town of Farmington, and portions of the Town of Auburn, in Fond du Lac County.

The Kewaskum Police Department, under chief Tom Bishop, employs eight full-time officers, along with administrative support, crossing guards and auxiliary officers.  They provide 24-hour assistance.
