About 3,700 people in Germantown affected by power outage

April 28, 2018 – Germantown, WI – Quite a few neighbors in Germantown were without power Friday night into Saturday morning. According to Amy Jahns with We Energies there were over 3,700 customers affected.

While Germantown Police say the outage occurred around 11 p.m. Friday, April 27. We Energies said the outage occurred at 5 a.m. Saturday, April 28. Customers were without power for about 48 minutes and “we found evidence of wildlife that came in contact with the equipment and that caused the outage.”

Jahns said there was “evidence of a raccoon.”

Power has since been restored.
