Bomb threat in Campbellsport under investigation

May 22, 2018 – Campbellsport, WI – There are fire trucks and orange cones on Grandview Avenue in Campbellsport as authorities investigate reports of a bomb threat at the Dollar General, 510 Grandview Ave.

Kevin Harvey is the manager at Piggly Wiggly next door, 450 Grandview Ave. “We’re open for business,” he said.

Harvey said a fire truck has been outside the store since around 12:19 p.m.

Just after 1 p.m. the high school reportedly lifted its lockdown.

According to parents an “all clear” message has now been issued.

Campbellsport Police confirm the chief is on scene at the Dollar General Store in Campbellsport.

An investigation is underway and a statement is expected to be issued shortly.
