Bunch of smarty pants at the annual Holy Angels Spelling Bee By Mike Sternig

Jan. 18, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Holy Angels School in West Bend held its annual Spelling Bee which included three levels of competition. 

At the primary level, third grader Layla Reichenberger took first place honors and fellow third grader Mitchell Birchbauer was runner-up. 

 

At the intermediate level, fourth grader Gabe Guminski  was the top speller, followed by fifth grader Hannah Andrews.

 

The winner of the junior high division and runner-up will represent Holy Angels at the Lumen Alliance regional Spelling Bee in February. 

They are sixth grader Jack Bell and seventh grader Greta Zier respectively.
