August 24, 2018 – Hartford, WI – The historic view of Hartford City Hall will be changing in the coming month.
The flagpole atop the building has caused structural damage to the decorative cupola on the roof top.
To resolve the issue the pole is being removed and replaced with a pair of 45-degree angled poles off the front of the building.
Flags will include the U.S. flag and Wisconsin state flag.
City building maintenance crews have worked on the existing flagpole for several months hoping to solve the damage caused by wind and the pole but to no avail.
