Child struck by vehicle in Kewaskum. Injuries not deemed life threatening.

March 30, 2017 – Kewaskum, WI – Kewaskum Police Chief Tom Bishop said a child from Kewaskum Middle School was taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle on Reigle Drive just south of Wildlife Drive. The accident happened just after 3 p.m.

Bishop acknowledged dispatch reported the boy may have suffered a broken leg, however he was not able to confirm.  Bishop said the child’s injuries were not life threatening.

There’s no word whether the driver received a citation. The name of the boy is not being released nor an update on his condition.
