March 7, 2017 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend common council unanimously approved Michelle Hoey, 45, as the city’s new Human Resources Director.
Hoey has spent the last 14 years working for Washington County; most recently as the employee benefits manager.
There were about a dozen people who applied for the post.
“This will be more responsibility and a bit of a financial boost,” she said.
Hoey will make $80,000. She’ll start Monday, March 13.
The H.R. position was previously held by Amy Reuteman and prior to that by city administrator Steve Volkert.
