Feb. 6, 2018 – Dodge Co., WI – On February 3, 2018 at approximately 1:34 a.m., the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of CTH S and STH 67 in the Township of Hubbard, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

The preliminary investigation shows Amanda Lesniewski, 26, from Muskego, WI was operating a 2011 Ford F150 East on CTH S and approaching the intersection with STH 67.

The driver failed to stop at the stop sign on CTH S at STH 67 and crossed both lanes of traffic.

The vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree line where the vehicle struck a large tree.

The driver was possibly ejected from the vehicle and the vehicle then became fully engulfed by fire.

Lesniewski suffered serious injuries and was taken by Flight for Life to Aurora Summit Hospital.  It is believed that alcohol was a factor in this crash.  Once the fire was extinguished and the area searched, the female driver was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Assisting at the scene was Iron Ridge Fire and First Responders, Woodland Fire, Horicon EMS, Beaver Dam Paramedics, and Flight for Life.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
