Jan. 8, 2017 – Fond du Lac, WI – Firefighters battled brutally cold temperatures as a fire destroyed a detached garage and two vehicles early Sunday morning in Fond du Lac .
Firefighters got the call to 132 East Cotton Street just before 2 a.m. When crews arrived the garage was fully involved.
The blaze was extinguished and did not extend to any nearby structures. No one was injured.
One vehicle inside the garage and one parked adjacent to it were destroyed.
The cause of the fire appears to unintentional and is under investigation. Fire crews were assisted at the scene by Fon dud Lac Police and Public Works crews.
