Flight for Life called to motorcycle accident in Township of Farmington

 

May 26, 2017 – Township of Farmington, WI -A 42-year-old man from Adell was seriously injured following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon in the Township of Farmington.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the accident in the 8900 Block of County Trunk XX at 5:17 p.m.

Flight for Life was called to the scene.  An initial investigation shows the operator was westbound on Cty Tk XX when he skidded and lost control for an unknown reason.

He crossed over into the south ditch and was ejected from the motorcycle.

The operator was flown to Froedert Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. The operator suffered a head injury and other internal injuries. Authorities said he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

As of Thursday night the man was listed in serious condition.

The roadway was closed for approximately 1 hour to facilitate investigation and clean-up efforts.

No further information is being released at this time and the crash remains under investigation.
