West Bend, WI – FRIENDS Inc. empowers and provides safety to those affected by domestic and sexual violence through support services and prevention education in Washington County. We would like to inform the community that FRIENDS is deemed an Essential Service and our emergency shelter and 24-hour hotline remain open.
Violence does not end during a pandemic; in fact, the increased stressors caused by the pandemic may result in an increase in domestic violence. We are dedicated to continue serving our community while also doing our part in slowing the spread of COVID-19 by having as many staff as possible work remotely and increasing our sanitary measures in the shelter.
