Gear Up Foundation responding with help for Mexico | By Ron Naab

Sept. 22, 2017 – Allenton, WI – Ron Naab, President of Gear Up Foundation, a 501.c(3), has a history of supporting firefighters and emergency responders in Latin America as a tribute to those that died on 9-11.

The Gear Up Foundation is collecting items for a team from Wisconsin that is responding to Mexico next week.  The devastation and hardships are very difficult for those in the area of Mexico City.

This past Tuesday a 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck leveling buildings and killing several hundred people. Rescue efforts are still underway.

“We need batteries, flashlights, food packs for nourishment, cold packs for cooling down those overcome with heat, bandaging equipment, safety goggles, work gloves, and particulate filter masks,” said Naab.  “We are also accepting donations to help purchase items, pay for shipping and for our crew to eat while in Mexico.”

Anyone interested in supporting the effort should contact Ron Naab at [email protected] or 262-629-9749.
