Germantown H.S. students cited for writing threatening comment on desk | By Chief Peter Hoell

Feb. 20, 2018 – Germantown, WI – On Feb. 19, a Germantown Police School Resource Officer was made aware by Germantown High School Administration that someone wrote a threatening message on a desk.

Two students, ages 16 and 17, were discussing the Florida school shooting and the conversation degenerated to one of the students making a comment about a school shooting.

That comment was reduced to writing on a desk that both students were responsible for.

A teacher found the writing and reported it to Germantown High School Administration.

Both students were quickly identified, cooperative and remorseful. There was no credible threat.

Both students were issued citations for disorderly conduct.
