Germantown rollover leaves 1 in critical condition

July 2, 2017 – Germantown, WI – On Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10:40 am the Germantown Fire Department (GFD) and Police Departments were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover accident on southbound Interstate 41 south of Holly Hill Road. Upon arrival units found a vehicle rollover on its roof, with one victim trapped. GFD firefighters extricated the victim with the assistance of two Racine firefighters and a physician who were passersby.

Flight for Life was requested to respond. GFD EMS personnel stabilized the patient until the arrival of Flight for Life. The patient was transported to Froedtert Hospital Trauma Center in critical condition.

The Germantown Fire Department was assisted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, State Patrol and Richfield VFD.
