July 2, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Judith A. “Judy” DeWeerdt, 78, of West Bend, passed away on June 27, 2017, at Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in West Bend.
Judy was born on October 12, 1938, in Manitowoc, the daughter of the late Donald and Ruby (Wainright) Surfus.
Those Judy leaves behind to cherish her memory include three children, Susan Coda, Mike DeWeerdt, and Andy DeWeerdt; eight grandchildren, William DeWeerdt, Ryan DeWeerdt, Iris DeWeerdt, Lilly DeWeerdt, Kevin Coda, Kelly Coda, Kellen Fitzpatrick, and Harley Fitzpatrick; two sisters, Rosanne Tadych and Marilyn Neuser; a brother, Dan Surfus, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Judy will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017, at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend. Judy’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
The Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Judy’s arrangements.
