Kettle Moraine Lutheran track teams place at Lutheran Invitational Track Meet. By Jacob Moeller

May 5, 2017 – Jackson, WI – Kettle Moraine Lutheran took part in the Lutheran Invitational Track Meet at Washington Lutheran College on Friday.

Ariana Miller took first place in the 400 meter with a season record 1:01.02, and finished third in the 200 at 28.02.

Miller was also featured in the girls 4×400 with Peyton Weber, Emmalie Olsen, and Anna Peterson. They finished in 4:32.99, taking third place.

The girls 4×800 team of Olsen, Cassidy Johnson, Naomi Gahan, and Carly Heuer put up a time of 10:51.68 earning third place honors.

Sophie Strasser’s discus throw of 101’ 2” was also enough for a third place finish.

On the boys side, Bram Miller swept the throws with a 55’ 5 ¼” shot put and a 142’ 7” discus.

Alex Michaelsen ran a 53.51 second 400 which was good for second place.

Jacob Moeller finished with a personal record 2:08.08 in the 800 meter, taking third.

Medaling relays were the 4×200 of Grant Biesterfeld, Jason Rose, Michael Wagner, and Riley Asen, as well as Biesterfeld, Asen, Alex Michaelsen, and Ethan Aisbet in the 4×400.

 

For full results and scoring, click HERE. Overall, the girls team finished in 3rd place out of 7 teams with 79.5 points, while the boys placed 5th with 62.

 

Next on the schedule is a conference quad at Plymouth on Tuesday.
