Kettle Moraine Symphony to perform at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School | By Connie Schulist

Jackson, WI – Kettle Moraine Symphony  will perform Sunday, Sept. 29, at 3 p.m. at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in Jackson.

In a side-by-side performance, KMS musicians are paired with West Bend High School’s Chamber Orchestra students in a performance of “Autumn” from Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons,” featuring Milwaukee Symphony violinist, Jeanyi Kim, as soloist.

Judge Andrew Gonring will narrate Britten’s “Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra,” introducing the audience to each major family of instruments in the orchestra.

After intermission the children can enjoy hands-on activities and learn more about the orchestra while parents enjoy Tchaikovsky’s 4th Symphony, his “symphony of fate” dedicated to his benefactor, Madame Von Meck.

To avoid waiting in line at the door, Symphony management recommends purchasing tickets early. Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors, $5 for students, family rates are $30 for two adults w/children and $20 for one adult w/children.

Tickets may be purchased online by going to the KMS website or by check made out to the Kettle Moraine Symphony, PO Box 52, West Bend, WI 53095.
