Kewaskum teen receives Super Bowl tickets | By Rick Zarda

Courtney Zarda
Dec. 23, 2018 – Kewaskum, WI – Kewaskum High School junior Courtney Zarda received an incredible surprise Friday afternoon at an all-school assembly.
Roger Goodell, commissioner of the NFL, had Travis Frederick of the Dallas Cowboys tell her of the award via facetime on a huge screen set up in the school gym.
Because of Zarda’s leadership in the school district as well as the community through the Fuel Up To Play 60 Program, she was awarded two tickets to Super Bowl 53. And it didn’t end there as the National Fuel Up To Play 60 Program is covering the airfare and hotel and the Wisconsin Dairy Council added $500 spending money.
Zarda said she was in shock and extremely grateful for everything.
She has been involved in the Program since sixth grade. Fuel Up To Play 60 is a National Program in conjunction with the NFL and the National Dairy Council which teaches kids the importance of eating healthy and staying active.
She strongly believes in the Program and plans to become a physical education teacher in the future to enable her to continue to spread the Program’s message.
