KML takes control against Kewaskum | By Jordyn Heckendorf

Dec. 5, 2018 – Jackson, WI – The Kettle Moraine Lutheran Chargers opened up East Central Conference play with a strong win over the Kewaskum Indians, 72-36.

Ball movement was key as the Chargers racked up a total of 20 assists (Abby Washburn, Faith Zuleger, and Jordyn Heckendorf tied with the most at 3 each).

This opened up many offensive opportunities where the scoring was evenly distributed.

Defensively, the Chargers pressured Kewaskum with an aggressive half-court press that led to most of their steals, 12 overall.

KML hopes to continue this type of performance when they face Berlin this Friday in Jackson.
