June 22, 2017 – West Bend, WI – A great turnout out this week for a day full of bicycle races as The Tour of America’s Dairlyland (ToAD) returned to West Bend. The June 19 event was a day filled with cycling excitement with 11 different races including a local kids race.
A nice round of applause for all the people and local businesses that helped make this event possible.
First and foremost, a very special thanks to staff from the city of West Bend including people from Parks and Recreation, Police and Fire. The safety of everyone was their most important concern.
Thank you to our sponsors:
Thank you to Delta Defense for being our presenting sponsor. Free cowbells were handed out thanks to our bell ringer sponsors Educators Credit Union and Mr. Hollands Heating and Air. Baird was our gold sponsor. Rytec sponsored our Pro Mens and Pro Womens Race.
The pace car was sponsored by Mountain Outfitters and American Construction Services Inc.
Our kids roll was brought to you by: Hampton Inn and Suites, Johnson School Bus, First Bank, Deer and Villareeal LLC and National Exchange Bank. Bike lights for the kids were supplied by First Bank.
In particular, I would like to thank these individuals: John Lanser, Jackie Maynard, Bill Koch, Tom Schuler and the entire TOAD crew, Kevin Schultz and his employees at Mountain Outfitters, Andrew Schumacher and Chad Leider.
We couldn’t have done this event without the help of our many volunteers.
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend this event and we look forward to another great race next year.
