Man backs into WB squad and is cited for OWI

OPERATE AUTO WHILE INTOXICATED 1st OFFENSE

On 07/23/16 at 12:05AM, West Bend Police Officers were sent to investigate a possible fight in the downtown. While the Officers were speaking to witnesses, a West Bend man, 27, not related to the complaint, attempted to back his vehicle out of a parking stall. The man apparently did not see the marked squad with the emergency lights activated behind him, and struck the squad causing damage. The man was determined to have been drinking alcohol and was arrested for 1st Offense, Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated.

OPERATE AUTO WHILE INTOXICATED 1st OFFENSE/ DISORDERLY CONDUCT
2800 Block Killdeer Ct.
On 07/23/16 at 3:06AM, West Bend Police were dispatched to a residence on Killdeer Ct. for a loud disturbance in the driveway. The investigation determined that a 47 year old male from Menomonee Falls had shown up to the victim’s home, yelling for him to come out and fight. The 47 year old male left just prior to police officers arriving, but was located driving his vehicle several blocks away. The 47 year old had been drinking alcohol and was arrested for 1st Offense, Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated as well as Disorderly Conduct.

OPERATE AUTO WHILE INTOXICATED 1st OFFENSE/ HIT AND RUN
S. Main St. and Paradise Dr
On 07/24/16 at 1:30PM, a citizen reported that they observed a vehicle strike and knock over a traffic signal on the southwest corner of S. Main St and Paradise Dr. The vehicle continued southbound on S. Main St. where it was located by a West Bend officer in the parking lot of Monroe Auto Service. The driver was identified as a 28 year old Jackson male who was determined to have been drinking alcohol prior to the crash. The male was arrested for 1st Offense, Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, Hit and Run and Operating Auto Without Insurance.

THEFT/JUVENILE ALCOHOL VIOLATION/OBSTRUCTING AN OFFICER
200 Wisconsin St.
On 07/24/16 at 10:25PM, a 28 year old female from Sheboygan reported the she accidentally left her cell phone in the restroom of the Washington Ozaukee Land Trust building and when she returned, it was gone. The phone was called and a 19 year old West Bend male answered the call. Officers located the male and recovered the phone. The 19 year old claimed that someone gave him the phone but the investigation later determined that he himself had taken it. The 19 year old was arrested for Theft and Obstructing an Officer. The male was also determined to have been drinking alcohol and was arrested for Consumption of Alcohol by Underage Person.
