 16-11006-1175-OWI

On 3/26/16 at 1:42 am, the Sheriff’s Office received a report from a passerby of a vehicle partially submerged in a pond on the southeast corner of County Trunk E and Powder Hill Road in the Town of Hartford.

Upon arrival deputies located a soaking wet 22-year-old Town of Erin man outside of the vehicle that had the front half submerged in the pond.

The subject admitted to driving and losing control of his vehicle. The subject failed field sobriety testing and was arrested for first offense OWI.

The investigation revealed the operator turned southbound onto Powder Hill Road from County Trunk E at a high rate of speed causing him to lose control and enter the pond.

He was not injured. The attached pic is dark, but taken from the scene.
