Motorcyclist injured following accident in Germantown | By Germantown Police

June 6, 2019 – Germantown, WI – A 50-year-old man was transported by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital of Milwaukee following a motorcycle vs. deer accident at 4:16 a.m. on STH 145/Fond du Lac Avenue north of Goldendale Road.

A citizen following behind the motorcycle observed sparks in the roadway ahead and then came upon the unconscious operator of the motorcycle and a dead deer lying in the road.

Officers arrived on scene and observed the motorcyclist was unconscious and bleeding. Flight for Life was contacted because of the man’s head injury. Authorities said the operator was not wearing a helmet.

STH 145/Fond du Lac Avenue was shut down for approximately one hour while officers conducted an investigation.

The operator of the cycle is in critical but stable condition.
