Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash in Dodge Co.

At 12:37 a.m. on Monday, May 30, 2016, Dodge County Sheriff’s Office 911 Dispatch Center took a report of a traffic crash involving a motorcycle versus a deer on USH 41 near STH 28 in the Township of Theresa.

 
The motorcycle was southbound on USH 41 and operated by a 31-year-old Milwaukee man.

 

The operator suffered serious injuries and was flown to Summit Hospital via Flight for Life.

 

The operator of the motorcycle did not have a valid motorcycle endorsement and was not wearing a helmet.

 
The crash is under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office. Assisting at the scene were the Lomira First Responders, Fire Department, and Police Department, Theresa EMS and Fire Department, and Flight for Life.

 
Identity of the operator will not be released until Tuesday, May 31, 2016. No photographs of the scene are being released at this time.
