June 13, 2017 – Washington Co., WI – More than 4,000 people were without power in Washington County on Monday night following a line of strong storms that raced through the area.
Heavy rain was accompanied by lightning as the storms came through around 7:30 p.m. Skies grew dark and ominous followed by brilliant lightning and loud rumbles of thunder.
We Energies reported multiple power outages from the Hartford area and Big Cedar Lake to County Road Z and Hacker Drive to S. Main Street in West Bend.
Neighbors submitted photos of damage including a number of large trees snapped in half to downed branches.
