Municipal snow plow slides into ditch during early-morning cleanup in Town of Kewaskum

Jan. 17, 2017 – Town of Kewaskum, WI –  The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a municipal snow plow that overturned on an ice-covered Town of Kewaskum road today at 6:38 a.m. on Tuesday.

The investigation revealed the operator was traveling down an incline on the ice-covered road at about 5 miles per hour.

The road has a crown on it which caused the snowplow to slowly slide sideways and into the ditch. As the snowplow continued to slide into the ditch it rolled onto the passenger side.

The driver of the truck was not hurt. The truck only had minor damage and was driven from the scene after it was rolled back onto the road.
