Dec. 11, 2018 – Dodge Co., WI – The operator of the vehicle was identified as Jack R. Dennis, 38–years–old, from Madison, WI.
At 6:53 a.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2018 the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office received a report a one vehicle rollover crash on State Highway 16/60 near Oxbow Road.  Deputies arrived on scene along with Columbus Police, Fire, and EMS and located a 38-year-old male from Madison who needed to be extricated from the crash.  He was transported to UW Hospital in Madison for life-threatening injuries.
Initial investigation shows that a 2014 Lexus was eastbound on State Highway 16/60 and left the highway on a curve, struck a culvert, and began to roll. Â While the crash is still under investigation, it is initially believed that speed and alcohol may have been factors in this crash.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was notified at 7:35 p.m. on December 9, 2018 that the driver had passed away at UW Hospital due to injuries suffered in the crash.
