John Graf has been selected by the West Bend School District as the new principal at Green Tree Elementary School starting with the 2016-17 school year. Graf replaces Katie Weyer who is moving out the area.
“We are fortunate to have Mr. Graf join the West Bend School District family,” said Erik Olson, Superintendent of Schools. “I am certain that the students and parents of Green Tree Elementary School will benefit from his demonstrated leadership and passion for all kids.”
Graf has served the Montello School District as the principal of Forest Lane Community School and as the PK-12 Co-Principal for the past two years. From 2013-2014, Graf served the Wisconsin Heights School District as a fifth-grade teacher. From 2010-2013, Graf was a teacher with Grand Marsh Elementary School in the Adams-Friendship Area School Districts.

Read, Write, Lead Training
Conceptual Mathematics Training
In addition to teaching, Graf also coached in the Adams-Friendship School District as a Varsity Assistant Football Coach, Varsity Track Coach, Middle School Wrestling Coach and Middle School Football Coach.
Graf earned his master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, grades 1-8, and Geography from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, where he was a member of the Men’s Tennis Team.
Mr. Graf and his wife, Jessica, an elementary school educator, have a four-month-old son, Jackson, and plan to relocate to the area.
Mr. Graf is eager to work alongside Green Tree students, families and staff to prepare students for college readiness AND career success.
