Northbrook Church offers new Life Group for 2016

Variety of topics offered at various locations in Washington County

Northbrook Church (NBC) in Richfield, will begin a new series of Life Groups in late January, that offer small groups for friendship, faith, and fun.

Pastor Dean Stelow said Life Groups are community groups that meet to discuss various life topics. “Life Groups are appropriate wherever you are in your faith journey,” he said. “One does not need to be an expert in the Bible to enjoy a Life Group.”

While Northbrook is a large, growing church, Life Groups help people experience a sense of belonging and community. There are several options tailored to various ages and genders. Specific Life Groups are targeted towards: Adults, Adults 55+, Couples, Twenties, Women, and Teens.

There are over 30 topics to choose from including Who Am I Becoming, Financial Peace, and My Journey with God. There are topics specifically men such as 33 The Series: A man and his marriage and topics specific to women, Passion Pursuit: What kind of love are you making?

A person does not have to be a member of Northbrook Church to attend and not all sessions are at the church itself; home groups take place in West Bend, Jackson, and Slinger.

“Life Groups are all about people meeting and becoming friends, growing in their faith, and having fun while they do it,” Stelow said. “Northbrook is about real people, with real problems and real questions. Life Groups are safe places for people like that to seek truth together.”

Most sessions run 10-12 weeks and each meeting averages 60-90 minutes. To register for a Life Group or learn more about NBC, go to northbrookchurch.org.
