Obit: Alice M. Stahl, 87, formerly of Town of Ashford

Alice M. Stahl, 87, formerly of the Town of Ashford went home to her lord on Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac with her beloved family gathered around her. She was born in Dacada on Jan. 23, 1929 the daughter of the late Eugene and Henrietta Dimmer Mueller.  On July 26, 1947, Alice married John J. Stahl at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Michael.  John preceded her in death on July 1, 1993.  They farmed together in the Town of Ashford and Alice worked at Campbellsport High School for 23 years.  She was a member of St. Matthew Parish, St. Martin’s Chapel and the Christian Mothers Society.

Survivors include her children John E. (Joan) Stahl, Joanne (James) Braun, Richard (Sheila) Stahl, Barbara (Randy) Seefeldt, Mark (Candace) Stahl, Kevin (Sandi) Stahl and Karen Ries, her grandchildren Bryan, Kelly, Katie, Andrea, Stacie, Stefanie, Sheena, Shea, Shannon, Derek, Tara, AJ, Kimberly, Daniel, Bobby, Nathan, Nickolos, Carissa, Cassidy, Ean and Erin, 27 great grandchildren, her sister Jeanette Plaum, her sister-in-law Margaret Mueller, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Along with her husband and parents, Alice was preceded in death by her son Robert, her granddaughter Sabrina, her grandson Tom Roloff, her brothers Robert and Norbert and her brother-in-law Carl Plaum.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 29th at 6:00 PM at St. Martin’s Catholic Chapel, Ashford (N1271 Minnie Lane, Campbellsport).  Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and burial will be Thursday June 30th at 11:00 AM at Mother of Sorrows Cemetery in Little Koehler.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 29th from 2:00 PM until time of mass at the CHURCH.  Memorials may be directed to Hospice Home of Hope or St. Martin’s Chapel.
