Auren F. Deming of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Waterford of Hartford Assisted Living Facility surrounded by family.

He was born on June 9, 1924 the only son of Harold and Martha (nee Daniels) Deming. Auren met the love of his life, Jeanette Rosin while playing in a band in Hustisford. They were married on May 8, 1943 at the First United Methodist Church in Hartford, Wisconsin. She preceded in him in death on August 28, 2005.

During his lifetime he was a farmer, saxophone player, car salesman and his favorite profession… Over the Road Truck Driver.

He and Jeanette retired to Ft. Myers, FL, in 1986, where they enjoyed 20 wonderful years of retirement before her passing. In retirement, Auren enjoyed golf, playing cards and being the Head Custodian at the Ft. Myers United Methodist Church. Upon Jeanette’s death he returned to his family in Wisconsin.

Auren was the loving father of Donald (Rita) Deming of Watertown Joan (Adrian) Weisensel of Iron Ridge, Linda (Russ) Brandt of Slinger, and Terry (Cindy) Deming of Hartford. He was the beloved Poppa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at First United Methodist Church (738 W. Monroe Ave, Hartford, Wisconsin). Pastor David Schoob of Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend will be officiating.Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, with a service at 11:30, followed by a lunch immediately after the service.

Private family Inurnment will be held.

Memorials to 1st United Methodist Church of Hartford or the charity of one’s choice is deeply appreciated.

As Poppa would say, “Keep the sunny side up and the dirty side down!”
