Obit: Charles G. Lunger

Charles “Chuck” G. Lunger, age 76 of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Kathy’s Hospice in West Bend.

He was born on December 28, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to Olah and Elizabeth Lunger.  He was married on May 16, 1964 to Sue Thiesse at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Forest Park, IL.

Chuck was a member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church in Hartford. He worked for General Electric as a sales counselor in the appliance division for over 25 years. Chuck was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed his membership with the Pike Lake Sportsman Club. Chuck also enjoyed golfing and his membership at the Hartford Country Club. Chuck was a very social man with a great sense of humor which endeared him to all who knew him. He loved his family and had a deep faith which ensures us he is spending his 77th birthday in heaven.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Sue; his daughter, Lore (John) Lilly; son, Robert; cherished grandchildren, Dustin and Tyler (Laura) Raatz; and his sister, Laverne Buccaro. He is further survived by other dear relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lorraine (Ken) Kolzow; and a brother-in-law, Vince Buccaro.

Memorial funeral services for Chuck will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Divine Savior Lutheran Church (3200 Hwy K, Hartford, WI 53027) with Rev. Douglas Stowe officiating.  Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00a.m.-until the 12:00 noon service.Inurnment in Southwest Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Medical Center Foundation of Hartford (1032 E. Sumner Street Hartford, WI 53027) or Divine Savior Lutheran Church are greatly appreciated.
