Carey D. Stahl, 65, of West Bend, entered Eternal Life on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at his home with his family and his faithful and loving dog, Molly by his side.
He was born on December 28, 1949 to the late John and Harriet (nee Snyder) in Harrisburg, PA. On February 14, 1994, he was united in marriage to Linda Wilson.
He loved spending time in the outdoors and putzing on projects around the house. One of his greatest passions was deer hunting. He enjoyed riding his Harley for many years. After retirement he enjoyed working at a golf course and spending time with family and friends. He was affectionately known as “Umpah” to his grandchildren.
Those Carey leaves behind to cherish his memories include his wife, Linda; her children; Mike (Terri) Skeris and Shelly (Bob) Kleinschmidt; two grandchildren; Zach and Kate Kleinschmidt; brother, Keith (Donna) Stahl; two sisters, Kathy (Rick) Cousins and Patty (Kevin) Melka; other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his favorite Aunt Hazel.
A memorial service in remembrance of Carey will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten funeral home (1315 W. Washington St.) West Bend. Rev. Joseph Fisher, from Pilgrim Lutheran Church, is presiding.
Carey’s family will be greeting family and friends at the funeral home Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
