Obit: Charles R. “Chuck” Feilbach, 60, of Fond du Lac. Chuck was employed for 40 years as Manager of Environmental Services at St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend

Feb. 24, 2017 – Fond du Lac, WI – Charles R. “Chuck” Feilbach, 60, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017, with his family at his side.

Chuck was born on June 10, 1956, in Waupun, the son of the late Charles and Dolores (Bauer) Feilbach. He was employed for 40 years as Manager of Environmental Services at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin in West Bend. Chuck enjoyed nature, gardening, antiquing, and spending time with his family, friends, and coworkers.

He is survived by his dearest friend, Lee Erickson of South Milwaukee; two sisters, Carla Feilbach (Richard Dietrich) of Florida, and Julie Feilbach (Ron Shilt) of Fond du Lac; two nephews, Chad (Ashley Gravelle) Bodden of Lomira and Michael Feilbach of Fond du Lac; a niece, Megan (Cory Siedschlag) of Fond du Lac; a great niece Sawyer Grace of Lomira; a great nephew, Leo Bodden of Lomira; one Uncle, Warren Feilbach of Theresa; a former sister-in-law, Leann Feilbach; two special family friends Connie Steger of Theresa and Laura Jahns of Fond du Lac; other relatives, friends, and coworkers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Mark Feilbach and Dave Feilbach.

Funeral services for Chuck will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral, 51 West Division Street, in Fond du Lac. The Very Reverend Kevin Carroll will officiate and private family burial will take place the next day at Emanuel Cemetery in Lomira.

Chuck’s family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
