Obit: Corinne A. Luebke, 67, Fredonia

Corinne A. Luebke of Pine Court in Shawano, formerly of Fredonia, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 25, 2016, at Froedert Hospital in Wauwatosa following emergency surgery. She was 67. Corinne was born in Port Washington on January 2, 1949, daughter of John and Elizabeth “Elsie” Feyereisen Biever. She grew up on the family farm between Port and Fredonia, and attended local school, graduating from Port Washington High School. On December 4, 1971 Corinne was united in marriage with Glenn Luebke at Holy Cross Catholic Church in the Town of Belgium. The couple lived briefly in the Dacada area before moving to their home in Fredonia. Mrs. Luebke worked as a CNA for Samaritan Home in West Bend for almost 30 years, retiring in 2013. Shortly afterwards, Corinne and Glenn moved north to Shawano to enjoy retirement.

Mrs. Luebke attended St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Cecil. She loved spending time with her children, family and grandchildren. Corinne was an avid reader, enjoyed Sunday drives through the countryside with her husband, liked flower gardening, word searches and going to the casino.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn, their three children: Jeff (Mary) Biever of Fredonia, Brian (Rachel) Luebke of Cedar Grove, and Lisa (Jason) Sonnenkag of Evansville, WI and four grandchildren: Joshua Biever, Jacob, Elizabeth & Mackenzie Luebke. She is further survived by three brothers: Richard Biever of Port Washington, Ron (Diane) Biever of Mayville and Nicholas Biever of Saukville, three sisters: Betty (Al) Kramer of Fredonia, Sharon (Steve) Crivello of Hingham and Lori (Peter) Gahan, also of Fredonia, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive visitor at Divine Savior, Holy Cross Chapel (5332 Hwy B, Town of Belgium) on Thursday, June 2, from 4-6 PM, followed by a brief prayer service with Father Jim Ernster. She will be laid to rest beside her parents in Holy Cross Cemetery.
