Obit: Dennis I. Pruski, 67, Hartford

Dennis Ignatius Pruski, of Hartford, was born to eternal life Saturday, June 18th, 2016 at the age of 67.  He was born November 24th, 1948 in Milwaukee, the son of Norbert and Martha (nee Wilczewski) Pruski.  Dennis graduated from Dominican High School in 1967.  He married Rita Loosen on September 10th, 1977 at St. Mary of the Hill in Hubertus.  They have resided in the Hartford area for their entire married life.  He was an active member of St. Mary of the Hill Parish as well as a former Parish Council Member and Parish Trustee.  Dennis worked for Home Glass in Milwaukee for over 30 years and co-owned for the past 15 years.  His family and friends were very important to him.  He loved spending time with them going fishing in Three Lakes and Canada, bowling, attending Brewer, Badger and other sporting events as well as attending his nieces and nephews baseball games, plays, and musicals.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rita (nee Loosen), his dearest children, Diane (Josh Elmer) Pruski of Naperville, IL, and Timothy (Roberta) Pruski of Champaign, IL, and his precious grandchildren Alexandra and Samantha.  He is also survived by his sister Catherine Twiford of Hartford, and his brothers Kenneth (Linda) Pruski of West Bend, and Anthony Pruski of Milwaukee, his mother-in-law Marian Loosen of Hartford, and nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by his parents, and father-in-law Anthony Loosen, and his brother-in-law Larry Twiford.

Visitation is Thursday, June 23, from 3-5:45 p.m. at the Basilica of Holy Hill.  Mass of Resurrection will follow at 6 p.m.  Interment St. Augustine Cemetery Friday, June 24 at 9:30 a.m.  The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home – Hartford is serving the family.
