Obit: Doris L. Cram, 89, Grafton

SingleWhiteRose2Doris L. Cram (nee Groth) of Grafton, passed away at the Gables of Germantown, on June 25, 2016, at the age of 89 years.

Doris was born in Grafton, on August 5, 1926, the daughter of the late Erwin and the late Beata (nee Heidtke) Groth. She was later united in marriage to the late Glen Cram Jr. on September 12, 1953, at Trinity Lutheran church in Cedarburg. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Debra and Dawn.

Doris was a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. She was very involved with the church, and was a member of the Woman’s Guild and The Quilters.

Doris is survived by her daughters, Debra Lammers Musil and Dawn (Mark) Eurich, grandchildren: Matt (Erica) Lammers, Nick (Lisa) Lammers, Josh (Kati) Mueller and Melissa Mueller; great-grandchildren: Farron, Elijah, Anson and Caroline Lammers; sister, Lillian Kohlwey and sister-in-law, Norma Groth. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Doris was preceded in death by her siblings: Ethel Denow, Franklin Groth, Myrtle Laubenstein and Mae Cram.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 1 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church (701 Washington St.), Grafton. Interment will be held at Zur Ruhe Cemetery immediately following the service. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at the church, from 11 AM until the time of service. Memorials to Seasons Hospice or St. Paul Lutheran Church are appreciated.
