Elizabeth S. Schaefer of Mayville was born to Eternal Life Monday, August 15, 2016 at the age of 88 years. She was born in Menomonee Falls, the daughter of Mathias and Theresa (nee Hoffman) Kohler. Elizabeth was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed the time she spent with family and friends.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 65 years Robert, her children Robert (Sharon) Schaefer of Marshfield, Mark (Cynthia) Schaefer of Iron Ridge, Gail (Marti) Gahlman of Waukesha, grandchildren Megan (Daniel) Kundinger, Regina (Ryan) Fisher, Terra Gahlman, Ericka Schaefer, Joshua Gahlman, 6 great grandchildren, sisters Mary Fetkenhauer, Anne Kay, Walter (Virginia) Kohler, brother-in-law Robert Wenninger. Preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.
Mass of Resurrection is at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 18, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 302 S. German Street Mayville. Visitation is at church Thursday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Father Thomas Biersack will officiate. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery Mayville, Wisconsin.
