Obit: Elmer Miller, 70, Plymouth

Elmer M. Miller, 70, of Plymouth, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016.

 

 

He was born on April 29, 1945, in West Bend, the son of the late Henry and Virginia (nee Miller) Miller and on March 11, 1967, he was united in marriage to the love of his life Linda Gasner at St. Martin’s United Church of Christ in Fillmore.

 

Those Elmer leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 50 years, Linda; three children, Christine Turnmeyer of Plymouth, Michael (Donna) Miller of Mayville and Jeffrey Miller of Plymouth; three grandchildren, Casey and Dylan “Bean” Turnmeyer of Plymouth and Catherine Miller of Mayville; two brothers, Edward Miller and Jerry (Bonnie) Miller both of West Bend; two sisters, Alma (Tom) Brodzeller and Susan Miller both of West Bend; two brothers-in-law, William (Judy) Gasner of West Bend and Frank (Connie) Gasner of Kewaskum; a sister-in-law, Joan (Howard) Brecke of Saukville, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

 

In addition to his parents Elmer was preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Frank and Dorothy Gasner and a nephew, Benjamin Brecke.

 

 

A Funeral Service for Elmer will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

 

 

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.

The Miller family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Plymouth Orange Cross and Plymouth Police Department who valiantly did all they could to help Elmer.
