Obit: Frances Reiter, 95, West Bend

Nov. 28, 2016 – West Bend, WI – Frances C. Reiter (nee Schlosser) age 95 of West Bend died Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Serenity Villa in Slinger. She was born September 13, 1921 to Joseph and Ida (nee Schmidt) Schlosser and married Neil G. Reiter at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington. Neil preceded her in death in May of 1993.

Frances is survived by her 5 children: Judy Pavelka of West Bend, Sharon (Joe) Haug of Shreveport, LA, Pam (Mike) Heinen of West Bend, Lynda Heinen of West Bend and Roxanne (Mike) Brodzeller of West Bend and 15 grandchildren: Renee (Don) Silloway, Vicki (John) Linton, Brian Dollhopf, Tami Cole, Butch Roth, Tracy Thomas, Kimberly Haug, Mike Jr. (Sarah) Heinen, Timothy (Patti) Heinen, Peter (Amy) Heinen, Melissa (Ben) Schmidt, Jamie (Mark) Rockteacher, Jennifer (Dan) Rozek, Anthony (April) Brodzeller and Andrew (Beth) Brodzeller. She is further survived by 29 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, her former son-in-law Jim Heinen of Kewaskum and other relatives and friends.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Neil, her parents, Joseph and Ida Schlosser, her son Theodore Reiter, her grandson Jeffrey Scott Heinen and her brother Franklyn Schlosser.

Funeral services will take place Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend with Deacon Mark Jansen officiating. Inurnment will take place in Holy Angels Cemetery. The family will greet visitors on Wednesday, at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Children’s Hospital Herma Heart Center or the Alzheimer’s Association are appreciated.

We would like to extend a special and heartfelt Thank You to the staff at Serenity Villa and Horizon Hospice, especially Kim and Heather for their kind and compassionate care.
