Obit: Grace Mueller, 74, of Kewaskum

 

Nov. 27, 2017 – Kewaskum, WI – Grace M. Mueller, 74 of Kewaskum, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at her home.

She was born on February 27, 1943 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of the late George and Irene Hemin. Grace graduated from Bay View High School of Milwaukee.

Grace’s very first job was at Grebe’s Bakery. She was an administrative secretary for the West Bend School District and later with Cesa No. 1 for many years, all while obtaining her Real Estate license in between.

Grace was kind hearted, caring and focused on helping her community, which inspired her to run for the Kewaskum School Board. She was a board member from spring 2012 and resigned in 2014.

She loved spending quality time with her family. One of her greatest joys was attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and supporting their achievements.

Grace enjoyed being active with her lifelong grade school friends on their reunion committee aka “Fifty Festers.”

She had a great love for animals and in her spare time enjoyed planting flowers and being outdoors.

Those Grace leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Donyale (Jack) Kreis of Kewaskum; step children, Jacci (Guido) Mazzolari of Jackson and Jeff (Nancy) Mueller of Germantown; grandchildren, Mallorie, Madeline, and Daniel Kreis; and her sister, Georgene (Gordon) Rettmann of Milwaukee. She is furthered survived by step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service in remembrance of Grace will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 215 Forest Ave. Kewaskum, WI. 53040.

Grace’s family will greet relatives and friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service.
