Obit: Jack G. Staehle, 74, of West Bend

 

June 22, 2018 – West Bend, WI – Jack G. Staehle passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at The Kathy Hospice at the age of 74 years. He was born on August 20, 1943 to Jacob and Emma (nee Schick) Staehle. Jack was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Custer High School Class of 1961. On October 27, 1962, Jack married Mae (nee) Kronschnabl and began their family. He was a brick mason for a career and enjoyed restoring his 1930 Ford Model A, fishing, boating, but especially loved to spend time with his family and friends at their Lake Home, in Mosinee, WI.

Jack is survived by his wife Mae, his children Daniel J. (Joyce) Staehle and Karen M. (Robert) Kuenzi, his five grandchildren; Matthew, Michael (Danielle) and Maria Kuenzi and Jacob and Thomas Staehle, brothers-in-law; Robert (Joyce) Kronschnabl and Kenneth (companion Pamala Hartman-Janus) Kronschnabl, sisters-in-law; Diane (Don) Swetzig and Christine (Joe) Marquardt, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his beloved dog, Trooper. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Darlene (Glenn) Burmeister and his beloved dog, Sammy.

Jack was a member of the Wisconsin Model A Club and Masons’ Local #8.

A Funeral Service for Jack will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, June27 at St. John’s Lutheran Church (809 S. 6th Ave West Bend, WI 53095) with Rev. Jeff Dorth presiding. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday, June 27th from 10:00am until time of service (12:00pm). Final place of rest will be at Washington County Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank all of the Pastors at St. John’s Lutheran Church and especially Pastor Jeff Dorth and Pastor David Kellerman. Also special thanks to Dr. Michael Mosely, the Hospitalists, Kathy Hospice and staff and the Moderate Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital for the care and comfort they gave to Jack.
