Obit: Joshua L. Marcsis, 21, Town of Belgium

Joshua Marcsis of Port Washington died unexpectedly late Thursday evening, June 30, 2016, at Harrington Beach in the Town of Belgium. He was 21 years old.

Josh was born in Elkhorn, WI on October 25, 1994, son of Jerome and Heather Anderson Marcsis. He moved to Port Washington in 2000 and attended local schools, graduating from Port Washington High School in 2012. Josh was very good with computers; he loved working with his hands on mechanical things like cars, and had built his own computer when he was younger. Josh really liked spending time at the family cabin in Northern Minnesota, and romping through the mud on the ATV. As an avid outdoorsman, he also enjoyed hiking and camping, hunting and fishing. Spending time with his friends and family were also very important to him. Josh’s smile and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother and step father, Heather & Edward Dyson, of Port Washington, his father Jerome Marcsis of Bayview, sister Samantha Marcsis, also of Port Washington, and grandparents Richard & Sherry Anderson of Nekoosa. He is further survived by cousins Nicholas and Jacob Anderson, 2 stepbrothers, other family and friends. Josh is preceded in death by his grandmother Muriel Anderson.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, July 5th at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, Rev. Lisa Larsen will preside. Joshua will be laid to rest in Holden East Cemetery, Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11 AM until services at 1 PM.
