Obit: Kathleen A. Beder, 75, of West Bend

July 3, 2018 – West Bend, WI – Kathleen A. Beder, nee Biller of West Bend died on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the age of 75 years.  She was born on October 19, 1942 in Hartford to the late John and Margaret (nee Schmidt) Biller.  As a child, the family moved to Milwaukee where she grew up and attended school.

Following her marriage on July 21, 1962 to Vincent A. Beder at St. Mathias Church, Nabob, the couple settled in the West Bend area.  A few years later, the family moved to Wallace Lake, where she lived and raised her family.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years Vincent; 3 children: Vincent, Jr. (Eva) and her only granddaughter Katrina, Theresa (Timothy) Held and Mark; 3 siblings Jim (Mary) Biller, her twin sister Eileen (Jerry) Wiedmeyer and Peggy Biller; sister-in-law LaVern Kulpa; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 brother Dennis Biller.

Kathleen worked as the head secretary at West Bend West High School for 31 years, retiring in 2002.

She and Vince spent many vacations with family at their hobby farm in Glidden where she loved to hunt and fish.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 6 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic with Davies Edassery.  Burial will follow in St. Mathias Cemetery.  Visitation will be at St. Lawrence Catholic Church on Friday from 8:30 until 10:15 a.m.
